I had the pleasure of staying at Mulberry Estate in the spring of 2023 and it was every bit as magical as described.  The ambience was relaxed and luxurious.  My family played ping pong and swam. We went for easy hikes in the greenbelt just behind the house. Theo and Rose are discrete and competent.  Thank you!   

Spring 2023

We recently had the privilege of staying here and couldn’t have asked for a better home base for our first visit to Cape town. A short 15 mins drive/uber to the V&A Waterfront (great retail, restaurants, fantastic contemporary art gallery, and many other glorious CT locations. Biscuit Mill, Table Mountain, access to Robben Island, and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens also very closeby.  

And Vineyards abound. 
The house has more than enough room - at least 7 perfectly appointed and equipped bedrooms and private bathrooms. Absolute comfort. Theo and Rose attended so efficiently and professionally to the housekeeping, gardening and pool maintenance to make our stay absolutely carefree. Large kitchen and dining room as well as a bbq and beautiful sheltered dining and lounge area outside. Right beside the gorgeous pool. Tennis courts did not disappoint and the sound of the creek running along the back of the property provided a gorgeous calm before bedtime. 
Each living area - there are 3 on the main floor - decorated with interesting and local African art. House comes with a few stuffed animals (taxidermy not “plushies”) which remind us who came first. Both grand and haunting and adds to the grandeur of this magnificent home. --

This home is spectacular, very comfortable and conveniently located.
It has a magnificent back yard with pool, outdoor BBQ and tons of dining space. It was a beautiful place to come home to at the end of a day exploring Capetown and the surrounding areas. We had a wonderful time in South Africa and can’t wait to come back again!

Nestled in the hills of Table Mountain this treasure of a home is unforgettable.

We had the privilege to stay at Sara & Sean’s beautiful home in Constantia, Cape Town SA.  Immediately you realize that this is a home that has been well taken care, all the amenities one might need.  Pool, tennis court, vegetable garden, aspiring mini vineyard, deluxe kitchen, covered outdoor dining.  The home’s caretakers, Rose and Theo not only made us feel safe at ALL times but their quiet way of keeping the house running and clean felt so calm. 

Safety was the up most in importance while visiting Cape Town and we felt completely safe at all times with the state-of-the-art security system, and Theo always on site. 

Centrally located we used this home as our home base and travelled throughout the Cape Town region coming back every night to dine at local restaurants or have a home cooked meal with local wine.  There are so many activities to do within a 5 minute to a couple hour drive away.  

I will absolutely be booking Mulberry Estate again and have already referred to many of my friends.

 I just spent two weeks in the spectacular Cape Town.  The home is a perfect spot for rest and recovery.
